Each 2 or 3 years, Arthur Anderson in conjunction with the National Association of Wholesalers, performs an analysis of the distribution industry. Recently, Arthur Anderson published their study entitled Facing the Forces of Change.

This analysis provided our industry with a comprehensive study of the distribution (BEST PRACTICES). Following is a reprint of the seven matrices, along with the quadrant definitions which are the heart of the practices.
