Maintaining a lead in cutting-edge technology is a priority at NYF. Our information managing is handled by the Masterpack distribution system, running on IBM's multi-dimensional database, UniVerse. Masterpack is written in the SB+ fourth-generation programming environment, allowing unprecedented responsiveness to customer needs.
The Masterpack system allows instant responses to customer inquiries regarding order status, inventory levels, etc. Integrated fax and E-mail allow our account executives to send hard-copy confirmations to customers with a single keystroke.
PC's are used extensively throughout the organization, for special customer projects, presentations, and to provide the agility to respond to changing technology and customer requirements.
NYF has an in-house software development staff and works with outside consultants and developers to provide the best possible technology services to our customers.
Among the many solutions we provide through technology are: EDI, E-mail, custom bar-coding, packaging, customer-specified reporting, bin stocking programs. Customers can also be given direct access to our system.
